Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory lead to support daily picking and material flow operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are accurately picked, stored, transferred, and delivered to production areas while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, hands-on warehouse experience, and a continuous improvement mindset in a fast-paced OEM manufacturing environment.

  • Review and resolve part shortages daily to minimize production disruptions.
  • Assist in picking and pulling components based on daily customer and shop orders to the appropriate areas in a timely and accurate matter.
  • Interface effectively with Team to ensure efficient coordination of respective efforts.
  • Keeps products separated and organized.
  • Monitors product quality and reports problems.
  • Operates various pieces of equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)
  • Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve process.
  • Maintain an orderly and professional work area.
  • Perform all other duties as directed by the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Perform inventory transactions accurately with proper documentation and system updates.
  • Support cycle count programs, inventory reconciliation, and physical inventory activities.
  • Maintain organized inventory storage locations and ensure proper material handling procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Ability to provide professionalism, patience, and a people-first attitude. Being a team player is crucial.
  • 3 Years picking experience in an OEM facility.
  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Tow motor experience; Also, proficiency in using simple hand tools, strapping equipment, pallet jacks.
  • Computer literacy: a working knowledge of a mfg. ERP system and Microsoft office.
