Logistics and Inventory Planner
Location: Clawiter (fully onsite)
The Logistics and Inventory Planner is responsible for end-to-end supply and inventory planning for assigned product categories, ensuring service locations have the materials needed to support vehicle maintenance, repairs, and operational readiness. This role is critical to maintaining fleet uptime by ensuring the right parts are available at the right location and at the right time
The planner owns material availability across the supply chain, partnering with suppliers and cross-functional teams to manage inventory strategies, maintain target stock levels across multiple locations, and proactively identify and resolve supply risks. This includes managing the full order lifecycle, from purchase order creation through shipment execution, receipt reconciliation, and inventory accuracy
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Success in this role requires the ability to influence without authority, navigate ambiguity, challenge existing processes, and drive practical solutions that improve fleet reliability and business continuity
Own end-to-end material planning and execution for assigned product categories to support service operations and maximize fleet uptime.
Manage the complete purchase order lifecycle, including PO creation, supplier confirmations, shipment tracking, inbound receipt reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies between orders, shipments, and receipt
Coordinate inbound transportation with suppliers and logistics providers, proactively resolving transportation delays and delivery issues
Monitor inventory levels, demand signals, and service requirements to proactively drive replenishment strategies and maintain target inventory levels across service locations
Ensure material availability by identifying supply risks, addressing shortages, and coordinating corrective actions to prevent service disruptions
Partner with suppliers, logistics teams, Serviceability, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve material flow and resolve complex supply constraints
Analyze supply and inventory data to identify gaps, improve visibility, and drive better decision-making across stakeholders
Monitor inventory health, including shortages, excess inventory, and potential obsolescence, while balancing inventory investment with fleet readiness needs.
Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders without direct authority to drive alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field of study is preferred
6 to 8 years of professional experience in logistics, inventory management, or material and supply chain planning
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a proven ability to mitigate risks and manage multiple priorities in high-velocity environments
Proficiency with ERP/MRP platforms and leveraging data to drive strategic inventory decisions
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets, build reports, and use data to drive inventory and supply decisions
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
Previous experience supporting fleet services or multi-site inventory operations is highly desirable
Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA systems
Technical background in inventory optimization, supply/demand planning
Industry-recognized certification such as APICS CPIM
