Job Description:

• Team details & who they will work with: COGS Ops Beaverton WMS, Supply Planning Basketball and Supply Planning Soccer & Brand Impact
• 2 headcount - 1 head count on the Basketball Apparel side of the team and 1 head count on the Golf/Tennis/Soccer Apparel side of the team.
• There are no skill differences between the roles. The HM will decide what segment of the business the ETW handles based on their interests and personality fit
  
  Desired Candidate Profile:
• Minimum required years of experience: 5 years of experience Supply Planning and Inventory Management
• Education requirements: Bachelors or equivalent experience
  
  
  Must have skills:
• Comfortable analyzing demand supply data, reviewing large data sets to determine what supply to buy,
• determining what actions need to be taken at what time
• Presenting to instructional forums, strong story telling based on data
  
  Nice to have skills:
• Comfortable with ambiguity and high pressure environments, dynamic work environment, highly cross functional communications between orgs
• Experience with Apparel or other consumer goods with a high SKU count
  
  Software/technical requirements:
• SAP ERP, Excel,
• Tableau and Cognos for pulling reports
• Previous Client/industry experience preference: Yes

The NA Supply & Inventory Planning Team owns inventory for the NA marketplace end-to-end (E2E); combining marketplace insights, inventory goals, and product hierarchy to shape supply in support of Consumer demand; and is a key partner on supply delivery, purchasing, inventory forecasting and inventory health. It has interaction across various stakeholders in the NA organization and the Global Supply & Inventory Planning teams.

We re looking for a NA Supply & Inventory Planner, who will support E2E Supply & Inventory Planning by a specific consumer segment.

This role will support and participate in the planning execution, serving as the planning team s primary point of contact for all inventory planning needs. This candidate will ensure that products are planned, evaluate risks and opportunities, escalate issues, and communicate all relevant information within Supply & Inventory Planning and Consumer Planning/Marketplace Planning teams to drive positive business results. This role partners cross functionally, representing IP, and explaining key metrics and actions.

The candidate needs to have proven track record of information seeking, analytical skills, resolving complex business issues and making sound decisions as well as the ability to communicate complex and/or business critical topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience. This person will need to successfully collaborate with cross-functional team members on a regular basis and proactively address, resolve, and/or escalate any operational issues affecting the on-time purchasing of product and E2E inventory health.

A typical day/week revolves around facilitating twice/month delivery planning process and ensure that materials are planned & purchased on the appropriate timelines under Demand Supply Management (DSM) function while supporting the marketplace supply strategy supporting global inventory health targets.

You will be responsible for executing and managing supply commitments through creation of purchase orders (POs) for procurement of the finished goods and the management of buy exceptions. You will maintain any changes to POs, including product movement from factory to distribution center. You will review POs for conformance to company policy and may address issues related to delivery.

You ll be conducting analysis to proactively identify challenges, at the same time be able to tell a story, driving clarity for your key stakeholders thru key business metrics. You will be asked to be the subject matter expert (SME) on projects and support key initiatives that have an impact to our day-to-day business.

You will proactively drive actions to keep a healthy inventory position in the assigned business. You will leverage multiple reports and dashboards to review key metrics, escalate any issues that will cause unfulfilled demand and/or a delay to the expected timelines. You will report and communicate to consumer planning teams delivery expectations, solutions to risks and opportunities and driving inventory health/productivity.

You will report into the Supply & Inventory Planning Sport Manager, working closely with Consumer teams and Inventory Operations team to ensure your inventory ownership supports the E2E targets. You will also work closely with the Consumer Planning team, including Assortment Planning, Integrated Marketplace Planning and Merchandise Financial Planning as well as Global Supply Planning and Merchandising.

WHAT YOU BRING

" Minimum of 5 years of supply/inventory planning, or supply chain experience required

" Excellent written, spoken and visual communication skills. Specifically, well demonstrated capability converting complex concepts into easy to interpret stories that resonate across a varied audience

" Flexibility in switching from strategic to tactical and operational levels of thinking and working, specifically in strategy deployment.

" Superior interpersonal, influencing and facilitation skills with the ability to work both cross-functionally and cross-culturally, specifically fostering productive relationships between key players and immediate team

" Validated analytical skills, finding relevant information within large data sets and create executive story

" Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)

" Prior SAP ERP experience preferred

" Microsoft Power Business Intelligence experience preferred

" Strong knowledge of Tableau & Cognos

" Must have tolerance for a complex, ever-changing and dynamic work environment

" Ability to demonstrate good decision making in ambiguous circumstances

" Participate on projects, including system releases, as assigned
