Inventory Specialist
Day Shift
Temp to Hire
Hourly Range: $17.00/hr - $24.75/hr
- Perform receiving of inbound material in less than 24 hours in business system
- Maintain accurate records for inventory including quantities, location and status
- Monitor inventory movements and transactions to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies
- Preparing project carts, pallets and material required to meet production schedule
- Execute project closeout procedure in a timely manner
- Ensure inventory accuracy by performing cycle counting
- Coordinate with Project Managers on all product returns to vendors
- Support vendor managed inventory programs by monitoring to avoid out of stock conditions, suggestions for product(s) to add to the program
- Prepare and package finished product for shipment to our customers or returns to vendors
- Clearly communicates problems to supervisor and participate in developing solution(s) with direction from supervisor
- Responsible for completing own work efficiently and accurately
- Able to effectively utilize Microsoft O365 products specifically Teams, Outlook and Excel
- Safely operate a pallet jack
- Safely operate a fork truck
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Understanding of Tri Tech Automations Standard Operating Procedures specific to job role
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. in a safe manner
- Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, applying 3S standards to your work area and helping identify and eliminate sources of waste
- Key Metrics: On-Time Delivery (material ready when production needs it) and Value Creation (inventory accuracy, reduced waste)
