Duties Description The Investigative Auditor performs professional work in the review, analysis, and evaluation of campaign finance activities within the New York State Board of Elections. This position is responsible for examining campaign finance filings, auditing financial records, and applying relevant laws, rules, and regulations to assess compliance. The Investigative Auditor supports program operations through detailed analysis, project work, and collaboration with staff and leadership to ensure the consistent and accurate application of campaign finance requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
For Investigative Auditors in the Public Campaign Finance Unit, these additional duties and responsibilities apply:
Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree + two (2) years of accounting or finance or general business or other related experience; or an Associate's Degree + four (4) years of accounting or finance or general business or other related experience; or 5 years of other related experience.
