Working closely with the Chief Investment Officer, the Investment Analyst will play a critical role in supporting investment decisions across client portfolios. This position offers hands-on experience across asset allocation, manager due diligence, equity research, and portfolio analytics, with an emphasis on disciplined risk management and long-term client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Research & Strategy

  • Conduct fundamental research on public companies, asset classes, and investment strategies relevant to long-term wealth management portfolios.
  • Support macroeconomic and capital market research used in asset allocation and portfolio positioning.
  • Generate research insights that enhance portfolio construction and manager selection decisions.

Financial & Quantitative Analysis

  • Build and maintain financial valuation models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions) to support equity and investment analysis.
  • Develop and maintain quantitative models for portfolio monitoring, risk analysis, and performance evaluation.
  • Utilize Bloomberg BQL extensively and leverage Python (or R) to analyze datasets, automate workflows, and enhance investment reporting and monitoring.

Portfolio Management Support

  • Assist with portfolio rebalancing, implementation, and monitoring across client accounts.
  • Analyze portfolio performance, attribution, risk exposures, and consistency with investment policy objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve portfolio efficiency, diversification, and risk-adjusted returns.

Manager Research & Due Diligence

  • Support due diligence and ongoing monitoring of third-party investment managers and strategies.
  • Analyze performance, risk metrics, and qualitative factors across asset classes.

Client & Advisor Support

  • Contribute to quarterly investment outlooks, client communications, and investment commentary.
  • Help translate complex investment concepts into clear, client-friendly materials for advisors and clients.
  • Provide analytical support to the advisory team on investment-related inquiries.

Trading & Investment Operations

  • Provide analytical and execution support related to trading, portfolio transitions, and operational processes.

Collaboration & Professional Standards

  • Collaborate closely with investment, advisory, and operations teams to support a unified client experience.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, fiduciary responsibility, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 4–7+ years of experience in wealth management, investment management, or financial services.
  • CFA® candidate or strong interest in pursuing the designation.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong financial modeling and valuation experience.
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills with the ability to work comfortably with complex data.
  • Experience using Bloomberg BQL is required.
  • Python experience is highly desired for data analysis, modeling, or automation (R acceptable).
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint for investment and client communications.

Investment Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of financial markets, asset allocation, portfolio management, and performance attribution.
  • Familiarity with a multi-asset, long-term, goals-based investment approach.

Personal Attributes

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a disciplined, analytical mindset.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to independently drive projects to completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a client-centric, high-standards environment.

Career Growth & Development
