    Investment Banking Analyst

    A leading middle-market investment bank, is seeking an Experienced Analyst to join its advisory team. The Analyst will work closely with senior bankers and play an active role in the execution of mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements for founder-owned businesses, private equity-backed companies, and corporate clients. This position offers significant exposure to live transactions, direct client interaction, and a high level of responsibility within lean deal teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, merger, and comparable company analyses
    • Perform detailed financial statement analysis and develop operating forecasts.
    • Assist with the preparation of pitch materials, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and other transaction-related marketing materials.
    • Conduct industry, market, company, and buyer research to support transaction execution and business development efforts.
    • Support due diligence processes by reviewing financial and operational information, managing data requests, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Track transaction progress and help manage multiple workstreams across live deals.
    • Collaborate with senior bankers to evaluate strategic alternatives and develop recommendations for clients.
    • Participate in client meetings, management presentations, and investor or buyer discussions.

    Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years of investment banking experience, or related experience in corporate banking, leveraged finance, valuation, transaction advisory services, or private equity.
    • Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
    • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a strong academic record.
