Due to continued growth, the team is looking to add an Investment Banking Associate to its Charlotte office. This is an opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial platform where Associates play a meaningful role in every stage of the deal process, receive significant client exposure, and work directly alongside senior bankers on live transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple active transaction processes simultaneously across sell-side M&A, buy-side advisory, and capital raising assignments
• Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and development of marketing materials including CIMs, management presentations, and buyer lists
• Coordinate and oversee due diligence processes, virtual data rooms, and transaction timelines
• Serve as a key day-to-day point of contact for clients, prospective buyers, investors, and external advisors
• Work closely with senior bankers to develop strategic recommendations and execute complex transactions
• Review and mentor Analysts while helping drive overall deal execution within a lean team structure
• Assist with business development initiatives, industry research, and the preparation of pitch materials

Qualifications

• 3+ years of investment banking experience with meaningful M&A reps
• Strong M&A transaction experience with demonstrated involvement in live deal execution
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skill set
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Prior middle-market investment banking experience is preferred but not required
