Investment Tax Manager - ASC 740

Kforce's leading organization is seeking an experienced Investment Tax Manager - ASC 740 professional to lead tax provision, compliance, and investment-related tax activities across a diversified portfolio. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and process improvement in a collaborative environment. This client offers salary and excellent benefits package, position is hybrid 3 days a week onsite in Boston.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day tax provision (ASC 740), compliance, and deferred tax processes across multiple asset classes
• 10+ years of tax experience with progressive responsibility
• Provide technical tax guidance and resolve complex investment taxation issues
• Identify and remediate data integrity issues within investment accounting systems
• Oversee workflows across tax team members supporting various asset classes (fixed income, partnerships, derivatives, real estate)
• Support transaction analysis and tax planning in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with external auditors during tax provision and compliance reviews
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, and risk mitigation
