Overview
We are seeking Software Assurance & Security (SAS) engineers (multiple openings at the CS2/CS3 level) to join our Rogue team supporting the development of advanced capabilities across wireless and mobile environments. This team designs, builds, and enhances mission-critical tools used in direct support of U.S. national security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software capabilities targeting wireless and mobile systems
- Perform vulnerability research, exploit development, and capability integration in CNO environments
- Analyze and manipulate network traffic across wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular)
- Reverse engineer mobile applications, firmware, and embedded systems
- Work with low-level system components, including operating systems, drivers, and network stacks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and refine mission capabilities
- Support testing, debugging, and optimization of tools in operational environments
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience in software development or a closely related field
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or Computer Network Operations (CNO) development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Experience working with iOS internals (e.g., kernel, system frameworks, memory management)
- Demonstrated reverse engineering experience (applications, binaries, or firmware)
Requirements
Desired Technical Skills (Wireless & CNO Focus)
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and/or Objective-C/Swift
- Experience with low-level development (kernel space, embedded systems, or firmware)
- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols:
- Wi-Fi (802.11), Bluetooth/BLE
- Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, packet structures, routing, and network analysis
- Experience using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Ghidra, IDA Pro, Burp Suite, or similar
- Knowledge of exploit development, debugging, and vulnerability analysis
- Experience with RF concepts and wireless signal analysis (SDR experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix-based systems and development environments
- Understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities (buffer overflows, memory corruption, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in mobile or embedded security environments
- Background in firmware analysis or hardware/software integration
- Exposure to Software Defined Radio (SDR) tools (e.g., GNU Radio, HackRF, USRP)
- Familiarity with mobile OS security models (iOS, Android)
- Prior experience supporting national security or classified mission environments
