We are seeking an IPE / Production Engineer to gain hands-on experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, production systems, and process improvement within a furniture manufacturing environment.
Location: Greenville, NC
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM to 5PM.
$18 - $20 an hour
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day manufacturing and production operations.
- Analyze production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Assist with process improvement projects and workflow optimization.
- Collect and analyze production data, measurements, and performance information.
- Help identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities to improve productivity.
- Work closely with production and operations teams on implementing improvements.
- Assist with documenting processes, procedures, and production standards.
- Gain hands-on exposure to industrial engineering principles within a furniture manufacturing environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both office and production personnel.
- Someone who is curious, adaptable, and interested in learning how products move from production to finished goods.
