Baptist Health is currently looking to add an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist to our Special Procedures Department at Baptist Clay located in Fleming Island, FL. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity working Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.

Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performs high quality radiographic images 
• Functions as member of a team performing interventional procedures on patients 
• Working under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR 
• Promotes good will among co-workers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients 
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements 
• Must participate in on-call coverage 
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy 

Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 Years Radiologic Technologist Experience Preferred 
• Less than 1 year Cath Laboratory Experience Preferred 

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School Required 
• Registered Technologist in Cardiovascular – ARRT Preferred 
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT – ARRT Preferred 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Preferred 
• Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH Preferred
