IRON WORKERS

McIntosh, AL | STRUCTURAL

G.A. West & Co. is hiring Iron Workers for a 1-2 week outage in McIntosh, AL. These positions are night shift. Per diem is available for those who qualify. Details below:

• Must be able to read and understand orthographic, erection and item drawings
• Must have complete understanding of beam numbers and erection plans
• Must be familiar with various size and types of materials
• Must be familiar with stairs and handrail erection
• Must be familiar with proper rigging techniques
• Must be familiar with crane placement, flagging of loads and lifts, power tools, impacts etc.
• Must be experienced with torquing methods and racking and plumbing steel structures
• Must be familiar with OSHA rules and regulations
• Must be willing to undergo background check and drug screening
