Job Title: ISEE Instructor
Job Summary:As an ISEE instructor, you will be responsible for preparing students for the Independent School Entrance Examination, a standardized test required for admission to private schools. Your primary duties will include developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to help students improve their performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the specific content and format of the ISEE exam.
  • Deliver engaging and effective instruction to students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and materials.
  • Administer practice tests to evaluate students' strengths and weaknesses.
  • Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Communicate regularly with students and parents to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
  • Stay informed about changes to the ISEE exam and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources for ISEE preparation.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree in education, English, math, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2.Previous experience teaching or tutoring students for standardized tests, preferably the ISEE.
3.Strong knowledge of the content and format of the ISEE exam.
4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5.Flexibility to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
6.Certification in teaching or tutoring is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
