    Job Description

    Mission

    Key Responsibilities

    • Custom DAQ & Control Systems: Full project lifecycle (requirements, design, build, commissioning, support) for custom hardware/software solutions not available commercially.

    • Dynamometer & Test Lab Support: Lead repair, upgrades, and calibration for dyno systems, controls, and test monuments across the Technical Center.

    • ISO/IEC 17025 Leadership: Implement and maintain the Quality Management System, lead calibration lab operations, calculate measurement uncertainty, and serve as primary liaison for external audits and accreditation bodies.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams and test labs to deliver specialized test setups and train staff on quality standards.

    Profile

    Key Requirements & Skills

    • Education & Experience: BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in controls, instrumentation, and ISO 17025 compliance.

    • Engineering & Hardware: Control system/panel design, circuit design, embedded systems, instrumentation, and test bench support.

    • Programming: Development and troubleshooting in PLCs, LabVIEW, C#, C++, and embedded software.

    • Quality & Metrology: ISO 17025 auditing expertise, metrological traceability, calibration practices, and technical project management.
