IT Application Development Manager

Client: Santa Clara Family Health Plan

Role: IT Application Development Manager

Location: Hybrid-Remote (Candidate must reside in California). The candidate will be required to work on-site (San Jose, CA as needed. Travel expenses are paid.

Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire

Work Authorization: Green Card or U.S. Citizen

Interview Process: 2 rounds of MS Teams

Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of applications and interfaces, including ensuring accurate data exchange between trading partners in accordance with state and federal regulatory and contractual requirements.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Must have 1+ year of recent or past healthcare payer insurance experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead/managerial capacity
• At least 10 years of experience in application development - technical
• 5+ years of experience with SQL programming, MS SQL database development, and T-SQL query generation
• 5 years of experience with MS SQL Business Intelligence tools (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) or other enterprise business intelligence software
• 3 years of previous programming experience in one or more of the following languages/platforms: .NET, PERL, Java, SAS, VB, C++, or C
• Strong experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), coding standardization, peer reviews, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Excellent communication skills
