ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you interested in technology, networking, or AV systems? We’re looking for a sharp, motivated individual to support our IT department to assist with technology preparation, deployment, AV systems, and support across both campuses.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Preparing, imaging, and configuring Windows and macOS computers for deployment
Assisting with device enrollment, configuration, and compliance using Microsoft Intune and Jamf
Supporting Help Desk operations and resolving basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Maintaining and troubleshooting AV systems, including projectors, displays, and classroom technology
Maintaining and updating IT inventory records and asset documentation
Performing workstation setup, cable management, and hardware verification in classrooms and offices
Collaborating with IT staff to ensure smooth deployment and system readiness for users

Is currently enrolled in college and studying information technology, computer science, or a related field
Has a strong interest in systems administration, AV systems, endpoint management, or enterprise IT support
Is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow technical processes accurately
Has familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems and wants to learn about enterprise management platforms (Intune, SCCM, and Jamf)
Has an interest in AV systems and a willingness to learn AV troubleshooting and setup
Works effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
SCHEDULE
This is a temporary, part-time position for the 2026-27 school year, with with an anticipated start date of August 24, 2026, and an anticipated end date of June 30, 2027. This is an in-person position, working out of both the Harvard-Westlake Upper School and Middle School campuses.
The schedule is flexible consisting of approximately 10-20 hours per week, with select days and hours, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. We will work with the selected candidate to accommodate their college class schedule while meeting departmental needs.
COMPENSATION
This is a part-time, temporary, non- exempt position, eligible for overtime, with an hourly rate of $22.00 per hour.
ABOUT HARVARD-WESTLAKE
Harvard-Westlake is an independent school with two campuses in Los Angeles and approximately 1,600 students enrolled in grades 7–12. Classes for grades 7–9 take place on the Middle School campus in the Holmby Hills neighborhood, while grades 10–12 are housed on the Upper School campus in Studio City. A third campus, River Park, focused on athletics and recreation, is scheduled to open in Fall 2026.
