We’re an established government accounting and consulting firm looking for a seasoned IT Audit Manager to lead complex federal engagements across cybersecurity, FISMA, FISCAM, and SOC 1 assessments. You’ll work directly with agency CIOs and CISOs, manage teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to federal clients.
This role requires U.S. citizenship and an Active Secret Clearance.

Job Details
What You’ll Do:
- Lead IT audit and cybersecurity engagements end-to-end — planning through final report
- Present findings to CIOs, CISOs, and executive leadership
- Review workpapers, findings, and deliverables to ensure quality
- Manage budgets, schedules, and staffing across multiple engagements simultaneously
- Mentor and develop senior and associate-level audit professionals
- Contribute to proposals and business development efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or related field
- Active CISA certification
- 6+ years in IT audit, cybersecurity, or technology risk
- 3–5 years of direct federal IT audit experience (FISMA, FISCAM, GAO standards)
- 3+ years leading audit teams and managing client engagements
- Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills
Nice to Have:
- Big Four or national public accounting/consulting firm background
- Additional certifications: CISSP, CIA, PMP, or CISM
- Experience with civilian or Department of War agency audits
