Akkodis is seeking an IT Business Analyst for a client in the oil & gas / midstream industry. The ideal candidate will bring strong midstream measurement experience, hands-on knowledge of FLOWCAL, and a background administering and supporting business-critical measurement applications. This role will partner with business and technical stakeholders to support measurement systems, maintain application reliability, resolve application and data issues, and assist with upgrades and enhancements.

WILL CONSIDER 100% REMOTE CANDIDATES

Rate Range: $48/hr up to $75/hr; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IT Business Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Administer, configure, and support the FLOWCAL application.

• Manage and maintain application databases that support measurement operations.

• Support application upgrades, enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.

• Troubleshoot application, database, and data-related issues and coordinate resolution with the appropriate stakeholders.

• Work closely with business users and technical teams to support oil & gas measurement systems and related processes.

• Help maintain the reliability, functionality, and availability of measurement applications.

• Document application configurations, support procedures, issues, and enhancement requirements.

• Serve as a liaison between measurement professionals, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with FLOWCAL is highly preferred.

• Experience supporting oil & gas or midstream operations.

• Background in measurement systems, measurement applications, or a Measurement Analyst-type role.

• Experience with application administration and database management.

• Experience supporting application upgrades and enhancements.

• Ability to troubleshoot application and data issues in partnership with business and technical teams.

• Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Quorum Software experience is highly desirable, including prior experience working for Quorum.
