Purpose
Serves as the embedded technology resource for the Global Trade team, responsible for implementing, optimizing, and supporting trade systems and processes. Partners with Global Trade, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and third-party providers, including Thomson Reuters, to ensure technology solutions are aligned with business needs, compliant, and delivering expected value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Global Trade system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
- Manage trade technology vendors, including Thomson Reuters, and hold providers accountable for project deliverables and system performance.
- Partner with IT and business teams to optimize processes, automate workflows, and improve data quality.
- Coordinate testing, deployment, training, and end-user support activities.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, process flows, and best practices.
- Monitor application performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support reporting, analytics, and system-related projects impacting trade operations and compliance.
Requirements:
Position Specific Requirements (Education, Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive IT, business systems, or applications experience.
- Experience leading systems implementations, enhancements, or projects.
- Experience with system integrations and business process improvement.
- Experience using Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency in Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and related business tools.
Preferred
- Experience with Global Trade Management (GTM) systems.
- Experience supporting Supply Chain, Logistics, Trade Compliance, or Manufacturing functions.
- Experience implementing ERP or MES solutions.
- Project Management (PMP) or Business Analysis certifications.
