IT Business Analyst

PURPOSEThe IT Business Analyst position provides direct analytical support to the IT department by analyzing data as it flows into or out of an enterprise application. They will assist with the vetting of reported problems and identify improvement opportunities.ESSENTIAL DUTIESFacilitate root cause analysis of business/process problems and developing corrective action plansCollaborate with our partners in the creation of business support and user documentationAssist with the development of training plans/materials for our enterprise systemsResponsible for developing and maintaining technical documentationAssist with the development of metrics and reporting around IT functions (service and support, up time, customer feedback scoring)Assist with the development and versioning of IT focused policy, procedures and work instructionsAssist with the management of various IT administrative responsibilities such as: asset management, software licensing, circuit management, and life cycle management.All other duties as assignedPHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENTCollaborative team environment in a shared workspaceGeneral office, computer room, warehouse, and factory areasOff-hours work and travel as requiredSitting for long periodsMinimum lifting requirements of 15 pounds

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSAssociate degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or relevant work experience1+ years of experience in supporting business processes through analyticsBasic understanding of ITSM Principles or ITIL4 Foundations certificationSaaS concepts and technologies (IDM, MFA, M365, ITSM)Excellent interpersonal communication skillsFor internal use only: IT001
