IT Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Consultant to join our growing IT Infrastructure Team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between complex technical systems and strategic business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who excels at delivering high-level technical solutions while providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade infrastructure that aligns with our clients' long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisory: Analyze business and technical requirements to offer expert advice on leveraging technology to achieve organizational objectives.

• Technical Implementation: Design and implement robust technology solutions that adhere to industry standards and best practices.

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee IT initiatives and collaborate closely with in-house technical staff to ensure seamless integration and performance.

• Stakeholder Communication: Present ideas in an unbiased manner to clients and peers, ensuring technical concepts are communicated at a level all stakeholders can understand.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers through consistent face-to-face engagement and collaboration.

• Legacy Support: Understand and properly maintain existing solutions to ensure business continuity and stability.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.

• Enterprise Background: Proven experience working within large-scale or enterprise-level IT environments.

• Core Technical Stack: 4+ years of hands-on experience with:

  • Microsoft Windows Server (Installation, configuration, and management).

  • VMware Technologies (Virtualization management and architecture).

Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)

• Microsoft: MCSA or Microsoft Cloud Stack (Fundamentals or Advanced).

• Virtualization: VCP (VMware Certified Professional).

• Networking: CCNP or CCNA.

• Security: Any recognized industry security certifications (e.g., GSEC, Security+).

Bonus Skills

• Experience in a dedicated infrastructure administration or IT leadership role.

• Familiarity with cloud integration and hybrid infrastructure models.
