Type: Long-Term Contract with Potential for Direct Hire Conversion
We're seeking an experienced
IT Software Contract Specialist who thrives on complex negotiations and can independently manage technology agreements from start to finish.
This is a hands-on role supporting enterprise IT software contracting, working closely with Legal, Cybersecurity, Finance, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the full contract lifecycle, including review, redlining, negotiation, execution, and renewals.
- Negotiate complex software, SaaS, cloud, licensing, Master Agreements, SOWs, NDAs, and Proof of Concept agreements.
- Identify contractual risks, perform due diligence, and ensure compliance with licensing and data privacy requirements.
- Partner with Legal, IT, Cybersecurity, Finance, and Software Asset Management teams.
- Lead RFP/RFI processes and independently manage multiple contracts.
- Support vendor negotiations, contract issue resolution, and cost optimization.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience negotiating and redlining IT software contracts.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, cloud agreements, and technology contracting.
- Proven ability to independently negotiate and execute complex agreements.
- Experience managing RFPs/RFIs, renewals, and contractual risks.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience:- Energy industry or large enterprise environments.
- SAP and Icertis contract management systems.
- Negotiating agreements with major software vendors such as Oracle, Adobe, or similar providers.
- Data privacy, GDPR, and software licensing compliance.
