Your role will involve providing on-site Level 1 IT support, helping users troubleshoot common Outlook and Windows issues, assisting with general computer problems, setting up laptops for new hires, and aiding them in their initial login. You will also be responsible for:

• Delivering quality customer support to end users.
• Providing technical support for personal computers and peripherals.
• Installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing personal computers, including software, hardware, and peripheral devices such as printers and monitors.
• Connecting personal computers to existing data networks.
• Monitoring assigned queues, responding to service desk tickets, and entering relevant fix information for root cause analysis.
• Maintaining trouble logs, including wireless, VPN, and Hotspot connections.
• Instructing users in the basic usage of personal computers.
• Investigating information, network, and communication needs of users and making recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
• Recommending continuous improvements for IT processes and systems to enhance the user experience and eliminate core issues.
• Performing voice over internet protocol, network software configuration, and desktop engineering, including Windows OS and Mac OS.

Requirements:

• On-site availability Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Experience in providing technical support for personal computers and peripherals.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair software, hardware, and peripheral devices.
• Proficiency in configuring network software and desktop engineering.
• Client system/network access required.

Preferences:

• Experience with wireless, VPN, and Hotspot connections.
• Familiarity with both Windows OS and Mac OS.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
