Overview – IT Help Desk Technician

The IT Help Desk Technician position offers the opportunity to work in a diverse, multi-location technology environment supporting both corporate users and warehouse operations. The role provides direct exposure to a wide range of technologies, including Microsoft 365, endpoint management, networking, and distribution-related systems, while partnering closely with IT leadership and key business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities – IT Help Desk Technician

Provide on-site and remote support for PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve help desk tickets involving Windows, Microsoft 365, email, networking, VPN, and connectivity issues.
Administer user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Deploy and support new user workstations, hardware, and mobile devices.
Support warehouse technology including barcode scanners, label printers, and shipping workstations.
Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and system updates.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff and third-party vendors as needed.

Required Qualifications – IT Help Desk Technician

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
2+ years of IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience.
Strong experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Active Directory.
Experience with Azure AD, Intune, SCCM, or other endpoint management tools
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, wireless networking, and basic troubleshooting.
Experience working with ticketing systems and IT service processes.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environments, preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications, preferred.
