A global leader in technology and innovation is seeking a Temporary Tech Support Technician (IT Helpdesk) to provide first-line technical support for end-user computing and office automation systems. This role is ideal for a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, supporting business operations, and delivering exceptional service to employees at all levels, including executive leadership.
Position Summary
The Tech Support Technician is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day functionality of hardware, software, network connectivity, mobile devices, and conference room technology. This role will manage IT service tickets, support end users, track technology assets, and help ensure seamless business operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
PC Support & Asset Management
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues for end users
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT devices, including deployment, maintenance, and retirement
- Configure computers, software, and hardware according to company standards
- Log, track, and resolve technical issues through the IT ticketing system
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and conduct periodic audits
- Provide white-glove technical support for executives and VIP users
- Support standard business applications and corporate software tools
- Maintain conference room technology, audiovisual equipment, and shared computing resources
Office Automation & IT Operations
- Support mobile device management (MDM) solutions and security policies
- Perform basic Windows administration and Active Directory tasks
- Troubleshoot and support printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- Conduct routine maintenance on office automation equipment and systems
- Monitor software licensing and assist with compliance efforts
- Support IT security audits and operational reporting activities
- Coordinate procurement and replacement of IT consumables and accessories
- Image, configure, and deploy new workstations for incoming employees
Qualifications
Required
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of technical helpdesk, desktop support, or IT support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining PCs and laptops
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a methodical troubleshooting approach
Preferred
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals, or similar certifications
- Experience administering user accounts in Active Directory
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar ticketing tools
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English
