Job Description:

Job Purpose

This position will support our IT Infrastructure team as a Summer Intern from May 2027 - August 2027 and will be based in Nashville, TN. This is a paid, full-time internship.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist with day-to-day infrastructure operations, including monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting network and cloud environments.

• Participate in specific projects such as:

• Network: Configuring switches, routers, and firewalls; assisting with network performance monitoring.

• Systems Administration: Supporting server builds, patching, and user account management.

• Cloud: Working on cloud resource provisioning, cost optimization, and automation scripts.

• Document processes and contribute to knowledge base articles.

• Collaborate with team members and learn best practices in IT infrastructure management.

• Engage with leaders across the company to understand strategic technology initiatives.

• Gain hands-on experience with enterprise-level infrastructure tools and technologies.

• Develop troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in real-world IT environments.

• Understand the fundamentals of network, systems, and cloud administration within a corporate setting

What do I need to be successful?

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Time management skills
• Technical Skills (preferred):
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, or AWS).
• Understanding of virtualization and containerization (VMware).

Education

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Computer Science
• Must have an expected graduation date of August 2027 or later
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Work Environment

• This position will work at home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule.
