Calling all undergrad IT students!

Collins Engineers, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated Information Technology Intern to join our Chicago, IL team. We are looking for a college student who is passionate about technology and service excellence with a future career goal of working in information technology. This role will support all our offices within the company by monitoring and using management tools to provide technical troubleshooting oversight, setting up new computer configurations, vendor and employee interactions, maintenance, and system updates. This position will also provide support for ongoing IT projects.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist staff with providing computer hardware, software, and technical support.
• Provide help desk support.
• Install and troubleshoot problems with office software systems, including installing new applications, installing upgrades, and assisting users to solve software problems.
• Set up new workstations.
• Conduct inventory of all technological equipment.

What we're looking for:

• Freshman or sophomore working towards a bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field from an accredited four-year university.
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Microsoft Windows

Familiarity with the following software would be beneficial:

• Microsoft Windows Server
• Microsoft Azure
• Adobe Acrobat
