Job DetailsJob LocationArlington, VADescriptionZermount Inc. is seeking a motivated information technology intern who is ready to apply his/her knowledge of IT practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. The intern will assist in supporting the IT team in the maintenance of hardware, software, and other systems. They must troubleshoot issues with equipment like printers, computers, and servers. They run software update backups when requested. This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career in the cybersecurity field.IT Intern Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systemsAssist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical supportOrganize and maintain IT resourcesProvide technical support in response to user requests for serviceAssist with troubleshooting IT issues, provide technical support, and help develop IT solutionsMonitor antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware, adware, viruses, etc.Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center managementDevelop and provide user training for basic hardware and software useWork on ad-hoc projects such as software development and implementationDedicate 5 hours a week to support Technical Recruiting Department (mandatory)Dedicate 10-16 hours a month to support Business Development team (mandatory)RequirementsComputer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major or related fieldPrefer rising seniors or recent graduatesMinimum GPA of 3.0Familiar with Java, .NET, JavaScript or HTML/DHTML and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong verbal and written communicationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well in teamsStrong work ethic and attention to detailBenefitsGain hands-on experience in an IT positionShadowing and training experiences with knowledgeable professionalsOpportunity to attend networking events and company meetingsFlexible schedule for studentsWork Location and Core Hours:Arlington, VA onsite9am 5pmJob Type: InternshipOpportunity to hire for Corporate or Federal position
