Your Role<\/b>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

Our IT Internship provides comprehensive, hands-on experience in network infrastructure, server administration, and IT operations within a cGMP-regulated environment. Interns will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver network and server support, uphold compliance with regulatory guidelines, and foster continued professional growth. Ideal candidates will demonstrate an enthusiasm for technology and a strong continuous learning mindset.

• Assist with ongoing technical support for all IT activities, issues, troubleshooting, and maintenance for a range of systems, hardware, software, user PCs, laptops, and so on.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco experience preferred).<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Support basic server administration tasks for Windows Server environments; Linux knowledge is a plus.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Help with virtualization tasks using VMware (e.g., creating VMs, monitoring performance).<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Document network configurations and assist with inventory management of IT assets.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Participate in network troubleshooting, including diagnosing connectivity issues and verifying configurations.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Assist in firewall rule reviews and basic security checks under supervision.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Contribute to help-desk and end-user support, for PCs, laptops, printers, and other user devices.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate as needed.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Record all maintenance activities and IT work orders in our eQMS (SolarWinds).<\/span>

• Additional in-scope responsibilities as required.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>Enrolled in related technical degree programs i.e. Computer Science, Networking, System Administration, etc.

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Familiar with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, Cisco switches/firewalls).

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Basic understanding of virtualization concepts (VMware preferred).

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Demonstrated knowledge of Windows Server administration (Linux is a plus).

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Must be local to York, PA.

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Must be able to intern minimum of 15-20 hours per week during academic semester.

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Strong drive and willingness to learn in a regulated environment.

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Enthusiasm for learning and growth.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
