Overview
We're looking for a Product Owner to join our Distribution Independent Agent (IA) Sales Experience Portfolio and help build a best-in-class Quoting application for our Home product line.
This is a high-impact role at the center of a critical strategic initiative: delivering the tools our independent agents need to sell our enhanced Home products. You'll own the enhancement backlog for our New Quote & Issue agent experience, ensuring every update keeps pace with our evolving product portfolio and keeps agents equipped to sell with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Own prioritization and management of the Home enhancement product backlog for the New Quote & Issue agent experience
Partner closely with experience and technology teams to translate new Home product launches into agent-experience updates, identifying pain points and opportunities to streamline how agents utilize our system.
Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies to continuously improve ease-of-doing-business metrics.
Help maintain delivery momentum and support issue resolution across the squad.
Support the launch and stabilization of new end-to-end quote flows in market.
Day to Day Expectations:
With your aligned engineering squad/team, contributes towards achieving assigned product KPIs. Manages product(s) with a low-medium degree of strategy, scope, and complexity.
Owns and maintains the product backlog and is accountable for its contents, prioritization, and acceptance criteria. Accountable for clear, actionable user stories.
Sets priorities and actively participates in squad/team quarterly planning.
With support, sets expectations with stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.
Participates in squad/team demos, retrospectives, and all other ceremonies.
Works daily with the Agile working group clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, constantly communicating, and supporting alignment around product strategy.
Ideal candidate will have
Product management or product owner experience in an Agile delivery environment.
Personal Lines experience/familiarity
Strong execution and organization skills.
Experience writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Ability to facilitate or support Agile ceremonies.
Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
