We are seeking a Technical Program Delivery Contractor to support complex technology initiatives across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud environments. This role will coordinate project planning, technical delivery, risk management, stakeholder communication, and implementation activities to help ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, timelines, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate the delivery of complex cloud and technology initiatives across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Work with engineering, product, business, and client teams to define project objectives, deliverables, success criteria, and priorities.
- Track project progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential delivery challenges early and coordinate mitigation and contingency plans.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use project data and performance metrics to recommend adjustments that improve delivery efficiency and outcomes.
- Support the adoption of agile delivery practices, continuous improvement, and effective team collaboration.
- Coordinate the implementation of new technologies and processes, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and operating practices.
- Translate technical designs, system architecture, business requirements, and client processes into actionable project plans.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and decision-making forums.
- Prepare clear and concise status reports, executive updates, risk summaries, and delivery recommendations.
- Maintain alignment among project teams, stakeholders, and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate multiple projects or workstreams while managing competing priorities and changing requirements.
- Support DevOps, software development, cloud migration, modernization, and technology implementation activities.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ Years of experience, or equivalent expertise, supporting technical project or program delivery in a large organization.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder coordination skills, including the ability to build relationships and support timely decision-making.
- Demonstrated analytical reasoning and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to break down business, technical, and operational objectives into clear tasks and deliverables.
- Ability to quickly understand technical designs, system architecture, business logic, and client processes.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple technology initiatives.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, delivery requirements, and business environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software development, technical implementation, or systems integration.
- Knowledge of the card business and related technology processes.
- Certification in project or delivery methodologies, such as PMP, Scrum, Agile, or a similar credential.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience supporting cloud migration, application modernization, infrastructure transformation, or enterprise technology implementation.
The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $ 80 - $90 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
