Job Description:-
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager III / Senior Agile Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality applications and software solutions while ensuring project timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of software development projects using Agile and hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and delivery milestones.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, project estimation, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Agile Project Managers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, priorities, and deliverables.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and resource constraints to ensure successful delivery.
- Work with technical teams to ensure requirements, acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done are clearly established and met.
- Use Jira for project tracking, workflow management, sprint execution, and release planning.
- Monitor project progress, analyze delivery metrics, and communicate status updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Promote Agile best practices, continuous improvement, collaboration, and effective project governance.
- Support teams transitioning between Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates without a degree should have at least 7 years of relevant Project Management or IT experience.
- At least 4 years of IT and/or business experience, including hands-on management of Agile IT projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing software development projects using Agile methodologies.
- Previous leadership experience as an IT Project Manager, Agile Project Manager, Scrum Master, Team Lead, or Product Owner.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum practices, sprint planning, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience with Jira for project tracking and release planning.
- Experience working with hybrid Agile/Waterfall teams and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Strong project planning, risk management, scope management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or experience.
