IT Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex technical initiatives across software development, infrastructure and operations, and cybersecurity. This role is ideal for someone who can bring structure to fast-moving projects, coordinate teams across multiple functions and keep technical initiatives aligned with business goals from planning through delivery.

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90071 – Hybrid, 3 days onsite

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $75–80 per hour W2

What You’ll Do:

• Manage technical projects from planning through implementation and closeout across software development, infrastructure and operations, and cybersecurity.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk registers, KPIs, and other project documentation while ensuring projects remain on scope, timeline, and budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones, including engineering, QA, operations, product, and leadership.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers, develop mitigation plans, and drive issues through resolution.
• Provide clear project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership while using OKRs and other success measures to track progress and keep teams aligned.

What Gets You the Job:

• 5+ years of technical project management experience across software development/SDLC, infrastructure and operations, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• 5+ years of experience leading projects and driving change across globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies with hands-on experience using Jira.
• Experience creating project materials and facilitating stakeholder and leadership discussions using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Lucid.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive accountability in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• PMP, PMO, CEC, Six Sigma, or similar certification.
• Experience within financial services, SaaS/product delivery, or another fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Experience with Confluence, ServiceNow implementations (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, or BCM), or Power BI.
• Experience managing project financials or operating budgets.
