IT Project Manager, Requirements Lead

Requirements only earn their keep when they survive the trip from definition through testing to implementation, and that trip needs an owner. The Red Gate Group is seeking an IT Project Manager with a requirements engineering focus to support a Department of Defense intelligence customer, owning requirements definition, repositories, and end to end traceability for a newly established joint program office alongside the standard project management artifacts. You will develop functional requirements based on customer needs and specifications and define the methodologies used to determine them.

You will build and maintain requirement repositories, create traceability from requirements through testing to implementation, and guide the development of test cases and test procedures that verify the requirements. You will also prepare the project plans, scoping documents, and status reporting that keep requirements definition and coordination visible across the program.

You Have

• 8+ years of experience in requirements engineering or IT project management, including recent experience within the last 2 years. This experience requirement is firm and cannot be met through education or certifications.
• Master's degree in a related field, or one of the following in its place: an Associate's degree in a related field and 4 additional years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 additional years of relevant experience, or 6 additional years of relevant experience. The additional years used in place of the degree are on top of the 8 year experience requirement above, not counted within it.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current CI polygraph
