IT Security Specialist II

Introduction

This role is required to be fulfilled onsite 5 days a week in a *** facility. The target start date is 12/1/26, but candidates can start sooner if identified. The duration of the role is 12 months.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, SQL, etc.).
• Understanding of relational databases, cloud services, and middleware technologies.
• Self-starter who works with minimal supervision and the ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets.
• Ability to comprehend customer requests and provide the correct solution.
• Strong analytical mind to help take on complicated problems.
• Desire to resolve issues and dive into potential issues.
• Ability to adapt and continue to learn new technologies is important.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise applications to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
• Monitor application health, logs, interfaces, and integrations to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and data configurations.
• Support upgrades, patches, and release deployments.
• Experience with SafeBreach, Mandiant, or other testing tool implementation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Support, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications used across the organization.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure applications are stable, secure, high-performing, and aligned with business requirements.
• Participate in solution design, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for critical systems.
