IT Security Specialist - Plano, TX - Contract - $93-98 Per HR
Join our team as an IT Security Specialist in a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, or Jersey City, NJ. This contract position requires expertise in network security and operational support, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing security protocols. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network technologies and a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities and improving network observability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational aspects of network security products.
- Collaborate on security-related network components such as firewalls and proxies.
- Conduct proactive network reviews and disaster recovery testing.
- Document application flows and maintain up-to-date runbooks.
- Promote production governance and design standards adherence.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience with network protocols and technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex networking issues.
- Experience with configuration management tools and advanced network tooling.
- Excellent communication and client interfacing skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours across different time zones.
