IT Senior Software Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Software Developer to support the modernization, integration, and migration of enterprise-level applications and legacy systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and application development, along with experience managing large-scale system integrations, data migrations, and process automation.

This position involves transitioning legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring data integrity, improving operational workflows, and developing automated solutions to enhance system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration and modernization of legacy applications, databases, and enterprise systems.

• Ensure data integrity, validation, and accuracy throughout system migrations.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL.

• Design and implement automated workflows to improve operational efficiency.

• Build and integrate customer-facing applications supporting online submissions, tracking, invoicing, and payments.

• Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services for secure system integrations.

• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.

• Implement MVC architecture and follow application security best practices.

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS and reporting solutions using SSRS.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and external vendors to support system integration initiatives.

• Support regulatory compliance, data preservation, and system performance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• C# / .NET: Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, debugging, and developing maintainable applications.

• JavaScript & jQuery: Experience with DOM manipulation, asynchronous programming, AJAX, and dynamic web applications.

• Oracle & SQL: Expertise in PL/SQL, query optimization, stored procedures, and database normalization.

• MVC Framework: Experience implementing MVC architecture, routing, and application security.

• Windows & Web Services: Knowledge of Windows application development, RESTful/SOAP APIs, and authentication mechanisms.

• SSIS & SSRS: Experience with ETL development, data transformations, performance tuning, and reporting solutions.

• Enterprise System Integration: Experience modernizing and integrating large-scale applications and migrating legacy systems.

• Process Automation: Ability to develop automated workflows and implement online transaction and tracking solutions.

• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with government agencies or public-sector organizations.

• Experience managing large-scale data migrations and enterprise system integrations.

• Familiarity with permitting, regulatory compliance, or workflow management systems.
