This is a remote position.

Join our dynamic team as an IT Support Specialist and become the vital link that keeps our technology infrastructure running smoothly! In this energetic role, you will provide expert technical support to users, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and assist in maintaining our IT systems. Your proactive approach will ensure seamless computer operations, enhance user experience, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our organization’s technology environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Respond to support requests in person, by phone and through the ticketing system
  • Guide users through troubleshooting and problem-solving processes
  • Install, modify and repair computer hardware and software
  • Deploy and support computer peripherals and accessories
  • Ensure proper security hardening of network devices using industry-standard benchmarks
  • Troubleshoot network performance, bandwidth, connectivity and access issues
  • Assist with mobile device management and support
  • Promote strong information security practices and ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, PII and NFL ISRI requirements
  • Be available for occasional six-day work weeks and intermittent after-hours support
  • Manage hardware purchasing and provisioning


Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proven experience providing technical support in a help desk or desktop support environment with excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in software applications including Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise tools like Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Solid understanding of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN architecture, VPNs, firewalls, and network administration tools.
  • Hands-on experience managing computer hardware components and operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11) and Apple IOS.
  • Familiarity with IT management tools.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues quickly and communicate solutions clearly to users of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail when documenting incidents or system configurations.
