This focus allows our clinicians to obtain optimal work-life balance.Job SummaryThe IT Specialist I is responsible for operating the company help desk system, providing IT support and education to peers and end users, maintaining hardware equipment and software systems, equipment and system training, process and workflow consultation, assisting with internal IT projects, and onboarding incoming employees. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure maximum access to and implementation of technology services, resources, and deliverables.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain company IT systems, desktops, laptops, tablets, and additional company peripherals.Serve as the primary point of contact for users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.Provide accurate, timely, and friendly support to end-users remotely and in-person.Address and resolve help desk tickets.Ensure incidents have been escalated appropriately and have the correct level of detail captured.Escalate tickets to Level 2 specialists for resolution whenever necessary.Maintain inventory database of electronic equipment, parts, and supplies.Maintain physical inventory of IT equipment through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis.Schedule and plan shipments and logistics to ensure that equipment is shipped and received in a timely manner.Facilitate new employee onboarding, orientation, and equipment setup.Provide in-house training and assistance to end users as necessary.Adhere to new and existing IT processes and procedures.Assist with internal IT department projects.Other duties as assigned.Abilities, Skills and KnowledgeAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.Effective written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to independently troubleshoot and problem‑solve issues without prior training or experience.Ability to foster and contribute to a positive working environment and culture.Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.Ability to communicate professionally with peers, colleagues, business leaders, and executive leaders.Ability to use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential information.Uses initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines and procedures.Must attend to multiple time‑sensitive tasks simultaneously.Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail.Strong organizational skills and an understanding of information storage and retrieval.Analytical, evaluative and problem‑solving abilities.Must be flexible and able to work well independently and in a team environment.Must be able to quickly adapt to change.Education and/Or Experience RequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent.1‑2 years of experience in IT support and troubleshooting preferred.1‑2 years of computer operation experience in a medium to large end‑user environment preferred.Working knowledge of Windows OS, Mac OS, Active Directory, Networking, MS Office365, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Safari.Proficiency working with and troubleshooting Mac and Windows operating systems.Proficiency working with and troubleshooting mobile devices.Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.Special RequirementsPossession of a valid Driver's License with reliable transportation and applicable car insurance.Physical RequirementsAbility to regularly sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, balance, crouch, crawl, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.Ability to frequently use hands to handle or feel.Ability to occasionally climb.Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.Work EnvironmentWork is expected to be performed primarily in a typical interior/office work environment.The noise level in the office work environment is usually low to moderate.There is no or very limited exposure to physical risk.TravelThe employee is required to travel infrequently to complete agency business.Salary Range$20.00 to $25.00 per hour.BenefitsA supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunity to join a rapidly growing, fast‑paced organization.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.Generous paid time off.401(k).A chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementCare Options For Kids is an equal opportunity employer.
