IT Support Technician

Title: IT Support Technician

Location: Kansas City, Kansas, Kansas City, MO, Saint Peters, MO

Duration: 4+ months

Schedule: Any day of the week (Monday-Sunday), with assigned 8-hour shifts or 10 hour shifts scheduled within the operating window of 5:30 AM to 1:30 AM Central Standard Time (CST).

Compensation: $25-29/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to provide technical support, troubleshoot IT issues, and maintain reliable IT operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on technical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laptop imaging, configuration, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot printers, hardware, software, and basic network issues.
• Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate complex problems when necessary.
• Follow IT procedures, maintain quality standards, and identify process improvements.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and collaborate with team members.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on IT experience, specifically troubleshooting
• Experience with laptop imaging, printer support, and basic networking.
• Proficiency in Windows 11 and Linux environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow SOPs independently and prioritize technical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ certification.
• Strong adaptability, accountability, and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to share knowledge and suggest practical process improvements.
