Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled IT System Integration Specialist to support business strategies by designing and deploying innovative integration processes. This role acts as a vital link between legacy systems and new technologies, enhancing shop-floor operations and contributing to the success of a large-scale manufacturing site. It is a pivotal, visible position that offers the opportunity to shape technological transformation in alignment with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and enhance integration architectures to optimize business processes across diverse computing environments.
Analyze and address integration needs to improve workflow efficiency, supporting organizational goals.
Combine legacy tools with cutting-edge technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
Operate as an expert and mentor in IT technologies, establishing standards and educating others.
Provide hands-on technical expertise for existing systems, ensuring reliable operations and problem resolution.
Collaborate with business process owners on manufacturing application deployments.
Apply project management methodologies to communicate progress and deliver strategic solutions.
Promote adherence to IT standards and conventions while influencing organizational practices.
Commit to continuous learning and recommend advancements in technology to enhance operations.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Solid understanding of systems architecture, lifecycle management, and hardware operations.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with varied technologies.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization, from shop-floor personnel to senior management.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, using logical reasoning and critical thinking to devise effective solutions.
Self-driven and dependable, with a commitment to meeting objectives efficiently.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics.
At least 5 years of experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
A minimum of 4 years of hands-on systems integration experience.
Proficiency in SQL programming (Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL-Server, SQL, T-SQL) with at least 3 years of practical experience.
At least 3 years of experience in database design and implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with integration or ETL software such as SSIS, Active-MQ, WebSphere, or Talend.
Technical knowledge of XML and B2MML.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Applications, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Oracle or SAP ERP applications, Rockwell Historian, or OSI Soft PI.
Proficiency in web development technologies like Java, .NET, SharePoint Designer, and JBOSS.
Manufacturing expertise in areas such as quality management, order processing, planning and scheduling, shipping, or operations management.
Strong learning orientation, collaborative personality, and communication skills.
