Job Description
Position:
IT Technician Location: Cameron, Louisiana
Role: The Hiring Manager is requiring candidate that is a Help Desk, Service Desk type resource that has Apple and Windows experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide insightful advice and hands-on technical support to employees
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues and offer solutions to get employees up and running again
- Triage requests accordingly to our 3rd party IT provider
- Teach and train employees on new applications or hardware as requested
- Provide support for on-boarding and off-boarding new and departing employees
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a help desk support technician in a macOS environment (Ideally, you have been a Genius at an Apple Store)
- Certification in Apple products and devices preferred
- A blend of Mac and Microsoft support skills desired
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Success in team environments, demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability with other team members
- Comprehensive understanding of operating systems, including macOS and Windows
