    Description

    IT Training & Curriculum Developer
    Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – Texas Residents Only)
    Contract: 6+ months (with potential extension)

    We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to design and develop impactful, user-friendly curriculum and training programs. This role blends instructional design and technical writing to create engaging, accessible content that supports IT certification initiatives and drives effective learning outcomes.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 8+ years of experience designing and delivering training curricula
    • 5+ years of technical writing and business documentation experience
    • Strong ability to simplify and communicate complex technical information
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Experience developing content across multiple formats (ILT, eLearning, job aids, video)
    • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning concepts
    • Ability to adapt training for diverse technologies and audiences

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop IT training curricula, including course outlines, instructor-led materials, job aids, and multimedia content
    • Translate complex technical concepts, systems, and processes into clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials
    • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accuracy and relevance of content
    • Evaluate and enhance materials for accessibility, usability, and overall learning effectiveness
    • Continuously improve training content based on feedback and evolving business needs
