Akkodis is seeking an IT Training & Knowledge Management Specialist (Trainer) for a Contract to Hire with a client in Kings Point, NY. The ideal candidate will drive end-user IT enablement by delivering training, developing knowledge resources, and improving technology adoption across the organization.

Rate Range: $35/Hour to $38/Hour & the salary conversion will be $85K/Annum; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IT Training & Knowledge Management Specialist (Trainer) Responsibilities include:

• Deliver Microsoft 365 and IT onboarding training to ensure employees effectively utilize technology tools and services.

• Develop and maintain training materials, quick reference guides, and knowledge base documentation for end users.

• Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions, including Office Hours and Lunch & Learn workshops.

• Manage and update SharePoint and intranet content to provide accurate and accessible IT information.

• Analyze recurring service desk issues and create proactive training resources to improve user experience and reduce support requests.

• Support IT communication initiatives through newsletters, announcements, cybersecurity awareness content, and training compliance reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Communications, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 5-7 years of experience in IT training, knowledge management, technical communications, or a related role.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook, with experience delivering end-user training.

• Demonstrated ability to create clear, user-friendly training materials and documentation by translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
