Description
Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority is seeking an IT Coordinator to provide day-to-day technical support for agency staff while coordinating technology services with our external IT provider. This position plays a key role in ensuring employees have the technology, equipment, and support they need to serve our residents.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT support requests.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, phone, and mobile device issues.
Coordinate and track support requests with our external IT service provider.
Set up technology and user accounts for new employees and coordinate offboarding.
Maintain inventory of computers, phones, peripherals, and software licenses.
Support Microsoft 365 applications, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other agency software.
Assist with technology upgrades, software deployments, and cybersecurity initiatives.
Manage website and intranet updates with vendors and internal departments.
Research and recommend technology solutions and equipment purchases.
Maintain IT documentation, policies, and knowledge resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–3 years of IT support, help desk, or related technical experience.
Experience with Active Directory, user account administration, multifactor authentication, and technology asset management.
Working knowledge of HP & Dell computer hardware, Windows operating systems, networking, Microsoft 365, and basic cybersecurity practices.
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Valid driver's license and proof of personal automobile insurance.
