Janitor - 111 Jones

We have an immediate need for an organized, dependable Janitor/Custodian to join our maintenance staff. At Mercy Housing, you'll join a mission-driven team committed to justice, respect, mercy, inclusion, and personal growth-where your work transforms lives and communities.

The successful Janitor will provide clean affordable housing to the residents of the community. The Janitor will work with maintenance staff to coordinate a cleaning schedule.

Pay: $22.28-24.47/hour, depending on experience

Duties

• Cleans and maintains entry lobby, including cleaning of windows, doors, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, etc., at least daily, and more if necessary, to maintain excellent entrance appeal.
• Cleans laundry room, community room, conference room, and management offices on a daily basis.
• Vacuums hallways on a daily basis.
• Cleans community bathrooms on a daily basis (more if necessary) to maintain in a sanitary environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience.
