About the Role:
Paramount Facilities & Solutions is looking for a dependable and hardworking Janitor/Floater to join our team in Columbus, GA! This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming while enjoying variety in their daily work across multiple locations or areas.



Responsibilities:

• Perform routine janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting across assigned areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, common areas, and workspaces to maintain health and safety standards
• Float between multiple facilities or zones as needed to provide coverage and support
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal throughout the facility
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other janitorial consumables
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors promptly
• Follow cleaning schedules, checklists, and facility-specific protocols consistently

Requirements:

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple areas
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30+ lbs throughout a shift
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures (OSHA knowledge a plus)
• Flexible availability including potential evenings, weekends, or varying shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
