Janitorial Cleaner - Newburgh - FT / PT (Production)

Position Details:

POSITION TYPE: Part - Time / Full - Time

PAY RATE: $15.00 - $17.00 / Hr

SCHEDULE:

FT - 1st Shift| Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

FT - 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM

PT - Weekend Shift | Friday - Sunday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly - Every Friday

Frantz is seeking dependable and hardworking Janitorial Cleaners to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in a busy production environment. This position plays a key role in creating a clean, safe, and organized workplace for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Plant Restrooms

• Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and partitions
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other restroom supplies
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Clean high-touch surfaces with approved disinfectants

Ingot Restrooms & Shower Houses

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize shower stalls, locker areas, sinks, and fixtures
• Remove soap residue, mineral buildup, and debris
• Replenish all restroom and hygiene supplies
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain overall cleanliness standards

Break Rooms & Common Areas

• Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, chairs, and high-touch surfaces
• Clean interior and exterior surfaces of microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, and other appliances
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors
• Restock paper products and cleaning supplies as needed

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to work safely in an active manufacturing/production environment
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance required
• Previous janitorial experience preferred, but not required
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures and industrial conditions
• Must be comfortable working around production equipment and noise

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

While working in production areas, the following PPE is required:

• Hard Hat
• Safety Glasses
• Metatarsal Boots

All required PPE is provided by the company.
