Job Summary:

The Janitorial Maintenance position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly manufacturing environment, including production areas, restrooms, offices, breakrooms, entryways, and common spaces. This position performs routine and dep cleaning tasks to support daily operations, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and promote a professional workplace for employees and visitors. The role requires the ability to work independently, follow established procedures, safely handle cleaning equipment and chemicals, and perform physically demanding tasks in an industrial setting. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning: Perform routine deep cleaning of all production areas, restrooms, offices, breakrooms, entryways, and common spaces. 
• Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility
• Supplies Management: Monitor and restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials  
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures during cleaning tasks to avoid risks and disruptions.
• Equipment Care: Clean and maintain custodial equipment 
• Reporting: Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards or other issues 
• Documentation: Keep records of completed cleaning tasks daily.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Custodial or janitorial experience in manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
• Skills: Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong commitment to cleanliness and efficiency.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks.
• Communication: Able to work independently and with a team.
• Safety: Awareness of custodial safety practices and handling of hazardous materials.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $19.00/hour

Comprehensive Benefits Package

401(k): 3% employer contribution regardless of employee participation

Life Insurance: $25,000 employer-provided policy

Bonuses: Biannual discretionary bonuses

Paid Time Off (PTO): plus 8 paid company holidays

Schedule:

2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 am - Monday to Friday

3rd Shift: 11:00om - 7:30am - Sunday to Thursday
